Website monitoring for small businesses
An uptime tool tells you the site is down. This also watches the things that take it down: a certificate that stopped renewing, a domain about to lapse, a blocklist nobody told you about.
Start the free month Check a site first
$10 a website a month, or $99 a website a year. First 30 days free for 1 website, no card. The 30 days start when I approve your account.
What gets checked, and how often
You hear when something changes, not on every check. Each alert says what's wrong and how to fix it, so you can do it yourself or hand it to your developer.
| Check | How often |
|---|---|
| Does the site load, and how fast | every 5 minutes |
| The security certificate: expiry, and whether browsers trust it | every 5 minutes |
| Security headers on the homepage | every 5 minutes |
| The homepage source: injected scripts, hidden spam links, defacement wording | every hour, while the site is up |
| Blocklists and reputation | twice a day |
| Domain registration date | once a day |
| SPF, DMARC and DKIM, and changes to name servers and mail servers | once a day |
Checks run from one location, so a very short outage can slip between two of them.
What else you get
- Alerts by email, and by Telegram or WhatsApp if you add them.
- A status page you can share.
- Reports from the panel.
- A person to reply, every day, Sunday included, 10:00 to 22:00 Bangladesh time (UTC+6). Alerts themselves go out whenever a check finds something.
What it isn't
- It isn't a firewall, and it doesn't block anything. Keep Cloudflare or your security plugin.
- It looks at your homepage from outside. It can't see your files, your database or your WordPress admin, and it can't tell you a site is clean.
- It doesn't check from many countries. There's one location.
- Monitoring pays for watching. Carrying out a fix is separate, only if you ask, and quoted per job.
The price
$10 a website a month, cancel any time by telling me. Or $99 a website a year, paid upfront, about two months free. Billing is by invoice: you ask, I confirm, you pay. Every price is on the pricing page, and the terms cover cancelling and refunds.
Questions people ask
Do I need to install anything?
No. Website monitoring works from outside. Only server monitoring needs an agent.
Should I drop Wordfence or UptimeRobot?
No, keep them. Wordfence is a firewall and this isn't. If all you want is a ping when the site goes down, UptimeRobot's free plan does that well.
Why does a new account need approval?
Checks come from our server's address, and I answer for that traffic. Approving each account by hand stops people pointing it at sites they don't own. Your 30 free days start when I approve you, not when you sign up.
What happens when the free month ends?
Monitoring pauses and your history stays. Nothing is charged. Billing is by invoice, and card payment isn't set up.
Can I run this for my clients' sites?
Yes, on one invoice at agency prices. There's no white-label and no agency dashboard yet. The agency prices are on the pricing page.
