Website health check
One read-only look at your site from the outside: does it load, is the certificate good, when does the domain run out, what security settings does it send, and is there anything odd in the page source.
What the words mean
- Certificate (SSL)
- Your site's ID card. Browsers read it before they open a secure connection, and warn visitors if they don't accept it.
- Security headers
- Short instructions your site sends to the browser along with each page. Visitors never see them.
- HTTP 200
- The code a site answers with. 200 to 399 means it answered normally. 400 and up means an error, such as 404 (page not found) or 500 (a fault on the server).
- ms
- Milliseconds. 1,000 ms is one second.
- Domain registration
- Your paid right to the name. It's renewed with your registrar, separately from your hosting and your certificate.
How this works
We ask for your homepage once, the way a browser does, read the certificate it presents, and read the public domain record. That's the whole visit. No port scans, no logins.
A quick check doesn't include blocklists or vendor reputation. Monitoring does, twice a day.
What it can't tell you
It can't see inside your server or WordPress admin. It isn't a malware scan, so it never says "no malware". Nothing is saved, and you won't be added to any list.
